I just left a rels house in Queensland who had those things dotted all over the roof. The house was still as hot as hell once the air con was turned off. Now I know why.

NGE Ed Note: Wed like to hear from the Company here what do they promise? What can they deliver?

Alsynite ads infer that its Spinaway roof ventilators significantly reduce internal house temperatures, but this doesn't appear to be the case.

I installed the recommended number of units (ie 1 for a house less than 100m2) - after 4 weeks of observing its effect on hot summer days it's made no perceptible difference to the temp in our house.

My e-mail to their technical manager bounced. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

Save your money & open a window - it's cheaper & apparently more effective.
