Line Rental

How do I convince Optus that I want to lower my home phone plan.
Every time I ring them they tell me that they can't.
I'm sick of paying $70.00 line rental for $10.00 TO $20.00 of calls per month.
Every second time I ring they tell me that my plan is going up!

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

$70 line rental!? What plan is that!!
I pay $30 line rental with Optus. Never ever seen anything like that. The only plans Ive seen with higher costs are those new "cap" things for home phone and the fusion thing. $70 for simple line rental on one line sounds impossible.

I pay NO line rental for my ADSL line. That's the beauty of Naked DSL.
