Fantasia is a girl - she "dated\" men - it says that in the first post. It was not a gay speed dating thing I don't think, or she would have said so! She is simply saying she and a friend of hers who happens to be another girl went together.
Not as partners, as friends.

I read it as me and a girlfriend. As in me and a female friend of mine. Not an actual romantic relationship. Of course I could be wrong in which case a swingers club may have been a more appropriate place...

Hi Fantasia, I am wondering if "My girlfriend and I attended a speed dating" has anything to do with this?
If the organisers know/knew of your partner, then why would they give you "matches" as this can cause problems in some relationships and if the couple break up, then one or the other can blame the speed dating organisers.

Hi!
As at Monday March 31st I still have not received my matches nor any further correspondence. I'm not sure whether or not the purpose of this website is to attempt to solve consumer complaints (I understood that was the purpose but perhaps I misunderstood?) or just a place to vent. However I have just lodged a complaint with consumer affairs, but would still appreciate someone from here contacting the business owner so that he is aware that I have lodged a complaint via here.

My girlfriend and I attended a speed dating session last Wednesday evening (12th March). It was our first time and was one of those "we should do this one day" situations. However we went into the event with our minds open and no expectations. It turned out to be a rather overwhelming and unpleasant experience. Surprisingly the quality of men and women at the event was quite high, sadly though the professionalism, friendliness and understanding of the organiser was sadly lacking throughout the night.
The event was hectic, loud, boisterous and extremely fast. Due to the fact that a couple of my early 'dates' did not have their name tags on I wrote a number of the names and 'ratings' in the wrong order. I managed to re-organise the card so that I could make sense of it however it would have been very difficult for the organisers to make sense of it in order to workout the matches. Therefore at the completion of the event I briefly explained what happened and requested a new card to fill out.
This I did but found that the organisers and staff had all left in the short time it took me to do this. The next day I sent an email off with all the information from the card and explaining that they'd left without it and so here was the information required to process my matches. This was the response
"You had more than enough time to fill in your card, everyone else managed to do it in time......"
I replied back apologising and explaining (again) the situation with my card. I did suspect from his attitude that he wouldn't process and send me my matches however I left it at that and waited to see if I received matches when my friend did.
Unsurprisingly I did not. This then began a chain of (increasingly nasty) emails to and fro between my self and the organiser (of which I have copies) as well as my friend sending an email of support.
As of last Firday I have heard nothing further despite advising him that I would be taking the matter further. I am simply asking for the service for which I paid and did not fully receive (and in fact the approximately 15 men I 'dated' also didn't get the full service as they won't be able to access my contact details if they wanted them).
I would appreciate it if you could possibly mediate in this situation?
