Toshiba have a 1 year courier pick-up & drop off warranty as far as I am aware on all their notebooks and boast about a 10 working day turnaround time. You also have phone support. Ditch Domayne and just call Toshiba direct, much easier & you have paid for their support so might as well use it.

Of course if your problems are 'Software' related then we are talking about a different kettle of fish altogether.

Organisation name: Domayne
Issue type: Complaint

I bought this machine from Domayne, Warrawong on 12.08.2007, plus two years extended warranty. Was never told that the extension is with a broker, I.C. Frist, not with Toshiba, doesn't cover freight etc. The PC malfunctioned from the start: Some keys printed symbols different from those indicated! It had been very badly set up: I trekked back to Domayne six times in the first six weeks, battled on as problems expanded and accumulated. Got negligible help from Domayne, was told I would have to pay for technical assistance. Eventually it was freezing, refused altogether to send emails, March 24 went back to Toshiba in Sydney, hardware was cleared, but it took ONE MONTH because of Domayne stalling. I confronted franchisee, who expressed defiance, indifference. What can one do about peasants running businesses? Head of set-up needs to be informed: the franchisee should be appropriately dealt with, lacks the manners even to respond to letters.
