Good riddance to BB, the biggest load of tripe to ever hit the screen. I'm sure those involved will be in mourning over the loss of such a "religious" experience.

One wonders what Ten will dredge up as a replacement. It's not difficult to see why they lose the ratings war with other networks.

People only get to see the edited stuff from me. My butt gets kicked all the time too. Its all part of it, there's a line - you cross sometimes, but NGE does a good job for something unpaid and often thankless.

Well I'm not a moderator on NGE & occasionally my posts get edited or deleted all together due to the tone &/or language I use.

Care factor - I choose to reword my comments or just forget it and move onto another topic of interest, perhaps the whingers below should heed this advice instead of asserting there is some conspiracy or inner circle <---- how laughable

I wonder how many perpetrators of derogatory posts are a protected species or even moderators themselves. There seems to be an "inner circle" within NGE for whom forum rules do not apply.

I must agree with Fate in this respect... it is not a moderators right to make demeaning comments regarding a correspondent on a public forum and I have not encountered this anywhere else.

"Fate aka eternal whinger." falls within this category.

I am sure if the membership listings were perused NGE would find there are many posters who no longer post for this very reason. There are however some frequent posters who seem to be able to say what they like AND get away with it.

I agree with Fate. Some members seem to be able to say whatever they want and their comments will not be deleted. They can ridicule and belittle others and their comments stand. Just my observation.

Its not about right or wrong. It's about consistency. The only 'consistency' involved in the interpretation of forum rules is that it is consistently INCONSISTENT. I couldn't care less if anyone agrees with me or not.

Comments by some that attack individuals remain (or are posted under the guise of 'NGE'), while comments from others that merely hint at the boringness (or similar of a 'gripe') are removed.

I may not have seen the current load of BS called Big Brother, but I have seen the show in years past. Why would I bother watching something that lost any sort of appeal about five minutes after it first began however many years ago ?
