I am in my late 70s, I dislike the add's from funeral directors, don't like being reminded.
Why do they need to advertise? everyone is going to die, no shortage of customers!!

Perhaps google 'commercial radio code of conduct' see what it has to say and then perhaps contact them with your complaint.

I have bought this up with my local radio but nothing seems to be happening.

I have an 11 year old and a 6 year old. One day while driving the nasal spray technology ad came on the radio. It was just before 6pm at night after I had picked the kids up from day care. Afte rthe ad the 6 year old asked what erectile meant... the 11 year old sniggered because we had just had "the talk" but I wasn't prepared for "the talk" with a 6 year. I mumbled something about adults and then turned my attention to the big shiny truck in front on us, which seemed to work.

Since then I have noticed the ad on through the weekend from 9am onwards. I rang the radio station and the media manager stated that, as far as she was aware, the ad was only for adult listening times (ie after 8pm). The next day driving home I heard it at 5.58pm!

So when the radio won't fix the problem of inappropriate information for the time slot, where does one turn? eusa_think.gif
