Failure to deliver service promised.

On 05/03/09, I paid for a industrial, overlocker, sewing machine to be shipped from Ringwood, Victoria to Wamuran in Queensland.

The Service provided by GTS Furniture Removals was extremely poor and they failed miserable to do what they promised on thier website i.e.: deliver my item safely, and handle my move with care and compassion in a professional manner.

I was lead to believe the service I was paying for was for a GTS company owned truck to pick up my item in Victoria and move it to Wamuran Brisbane in a safe manner. Instead my service was outsourced to another company, where it was unloaded and reloaded at storage facilities throughout the move and my item arrived broken and with part of the machine missing.

I have contacted GTS Furniture Removals by phone and email a number of times over the past three months to attempt to resolve the matter only to be told the person I need to speak to is unavailable and my requests for someone to return my calls or emails remain ignored.

To anyone requiring the services of a furniture removalist company avoid this company at all costs! I would never recommend this company to anyone and intend to spread the word about this dodgy business and it's practices. I suggest finding a reputable company listed with the Autralian Furniture Removalists Association for anyone requiring the services of a furniture removalist.
