NO contact, they will not respond to my emails

Help!

MGG have dissapeared and taken our website with them which means we now have no business!
We have been dealing with them for just over 2 years and due to their awful communication skills we were in the process of moving hosts to a UK based company which is where we are based.
We can't get hold of anyone and due to being in the UK we have no idea what avenues to persue to try and take action against them and try and get either our money back or the data to our site.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It doesen't seem nice to be pleased to hear someone has gone bankrupt, but honestly when you are this unethical, and you happily take peoples cash without providing a service, then yippee. These guys really needed to be shut down. I will never deal with a graphic designer over the net like this again. My new designer (Shel Design) visited our office and has been easily contacted from the beginning. We will be relaunching our website home page (many changes have already been made live) in the early new year. Really happy with the 're-design' and the service. MGG - goodbye and good riddance.

I have noticed and look they may have nothing to do with the bad business of it all, but there are 3 websites still selling design and hosting that look a lot like My Graphic Garden. Actually some of the websites they have in the portfolio still sport the My Graphic Garden designed by...

I had a friend who nearly got stung by MGG, but luckily she worked it out early on...and came out unscathed.

I did business with My Graphic Garden over a period of nearly three years. The do do beautiful work however they have always been very slow, ignore all deadline requests, often did not respond to emails, are uncontactable by phone or in person and just difficult to do business with. In June 2009 we asked them to make changes to our website and paid a $1000 deposit. It was agreed in writing (you can only do business with these guys through the internet/email) that the job would be completed by late August. It is now November, and we have not heard a peep from them since July. No response to emails, phone disconnected, just complete silence. They have my $1000 deposit, but we have no work complete and they will not even reply to emails. Dont do it. They do good work, but only when it suits them. I personally think they have some personal problems and lack the maturity to do business like professionals. If its too hard, they just dont bother and ignore all contact you make. Seems this is a repetative story based on other comments on this site. MGG are still taking new business, but do not be fooled. Go somewhere trustworthy. These guys are just dodgy.

We have now contracted another business and will never do any work with MGG again. Very unethical and immature in my opinion.

Civil debts in the Magistrates courts have a 6 year period to commence proceedings so I think you would be well within the time frame.
You should just ring your local magistrates court and ask them, they will be able to help you.
You both should take action against this business otherwise they will just keep on ripping people off because they know people like you wont do anything about it.

Hi, I had the same problems with them about 2 years ago. So glad I found your post, I thought it was just me that they treated badly. They still have about $1600 of my money and have given me nothing for that. I demanded my money back and was basically abused and was told that they are the designers not me and that I was trying to control the project. There was a timeframe given by them and at each step they kept putting me off and saying that the layouts are still to come. I don't know how they can get away with taking customers money and giving them nothing in return, isn't that stealing. Don't give them another cent and cut your losses as it's not going to get any better. The whole experience still makes me furious when I think of it and I still want to take them to the small claims tribunal.I lost earnings due to the time my website was down and had to go elsewhere to complete the website and that cost more money again. I don't know if my claim will still be valid as it has been 2 years since I dealt with them. javascript:emoticon('')

UPDATE:
These guys are crooks and they will say or do anything to get you in, take your money and then ignore you.

I have tried everything to contact them and they pretend I don't exist.
The problem is they have done this to so many other people and the are still signing on more clients.
I have had lots of customers ready to go with 'MY GRAPHIC GARDEN,' but find my posting, conact me and then walk away.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH this company, they are involved in many disputes and action is being taken through the courts & ACCC.
If you were considering MY GRAPHIC GARDEN for a new website, logo or design work- DON'T DO IT!!!!
You won't get anything and will lose your money.

I have paid a 50% deposit of over $ 2,000 to redesign and re-develop my new website for my business *Glitzee*.
In the beginning (more than six months ago) they were ok with communication, but slow to get something done.
I received an email a couple of months ago that my designer had left and will have something to show me soon- but that soon became days, weeks and now months.
Now after lots of emails, lots of contact via me through their website forms etc and not response.
I have tried a phone number but it is disconnected and I cannot get an answer.
I just want out now and get my money back, but they are not answering me.
I have missed out on special promotions and vital business dealings due to this.
Where have they gone and why won't they just contact me?
