robbing peter to pay paul

iinet told me that they were upgrading my quota while cutting back the off peak time from 0000 -1200hrs to 0200-0800 hrs!!
I went online to see if I could downgrade my quota to the basic plan. there is a $20 fee!!

I sent them this note:

dear iinet

it would be interesting to see how much you give and how much you take away through the sleight of hand and magic of changing off peak hours.
I suspect I would be worse off if I continued my usage of off peak to the full between 8am to 12 noon [old off peak now lost.]

i went to the site to downgrade my plan as I do not use much anyway and found I had to pay $19 to do so.

not good.
it seems like a revenue grab to me.
a wolf in sheep's clothing baa-ing away.

I would request that at least you offered the choice to clients to downgrade without a fee.
how long does that take? 1 second?
