Greedy, greedy, greedy.

Got an email from MySoul, because they have merged with TPG, they, in their wisdom have decided they
are going to eliminate the phone/internet plan I am on. I currently get free dial up with my home phone, its pathetic, unstable and soooo slow, but its all I have.

They now want me to pay $16.95 per month, for a service (dial up) that I have had for free for years. And I have to pay 3 months in advance, and they are now no longer going to accept B-Pay, it can only be paid via direct debit, or credit card. If they think Im giving them access to my bank account, they must be crazy. They have given less than a months notice (must be changed over by the 22nd Jan) or I get cut off. Obviously, they want to force all their customers onto Broad Band, Im waiting for ADSL2 to be enabled at my exchange before I do that, but there is no way, especially now, that I would consider going thru them.

I have had so many hassles with them over the years, even called the TIO in a few times, it will be a relief to be rid of them, but its a PITA to have to do it now, (before the exchange is enabled for ADSL2)

The final irony? The plan I was on is called.....
"Never Pay For Dial Up Again"!!!
