NO contact, they will not respond to my emails

Hi,
I have read a few posts on here regarding a website and graphic design business My Graphic Garden. I have also paid for a website in full and have not received my site. I'm trying to get in contact with them to retreive my completed website.
Any help would be appreicated.

I am REALLY angry about MY Graphic Garden's treatment of so many people!!
The owners also ripped me off when I had my website designed over 2 years ago. The frustration I had with not having any resolution to my back end problems and website issues, on an ongoing basis was enormous. I couldn't get any response via email, couldn't contact them and their responses when I did get them were non short of disgraceful customer service. In the end I was one of the lucky ones and had my website removed to another server. I did lose a logo design which they didn't send me the completed PDF after I had made payment...a small price when it could have been in the $1000s of dollars for my website....I tried at the time to find others in my situation - unsuccessfully as I wanted to spread the word to prevent this happening to others.
I can only be happy that karma has come back to get them!@!! Although to all of you who have lost your websites I am so sorry!!

That's a pity as being a web developer myself I've always admired their designs.

I found this forum actually when looking for the reason why their website has gone down.

Another company that I've been having issues with getting paid from is 1one.

They outsourced a web project to me almost two years ago now and although I've contracted a PI recently, they refuse to respond.

So please beware if you're looking to use these guys as they've ripped a few other web developers and designers off as well and owe quite a bit of money.

You can ring any other web host - try and find one in your area to get your site up and running again.

There is real chance you have lost your database if it wasn't backed up - but you may be able to get your html/css from google if its cached. Hopefully you have backed up both at some point (think of copyright too - no copyright exists for a dead company though).

You can host yourself on many web hosts fairly easily, particularly if there is no database.

Hi all,

I discovered this morning that Sxxxxxxx Mxxxx Rxxxx has filed for bankruptcy with ITSA (Insolvency and Trustee Services Australia). They only have 9 people listed as creditors so they strongly recommend that anyone else who has been affected get in touch and log their complaint. You can do this via their website which is easy to find via google.I have been in touch with Klimt Assc and hope to hear back soon.

We are also in the same position regarding this company.We have paid over $2500 dollars to have a website designed and have had no result,am planning a visit to the department of fair trading,to see what advice they can give me as to how to try and retrieve our money,not happy!!

Just in case anyone wanted the details of the solicitors we will be using to process our complaint against MGG, I believe I am allowed to post their name here. They are called Klimt & Associates and they are based in Sydney. They do have a website which I'm sure you can easily find through a search engine.
Alternatively, you can also use the Law Society of New South Wales website who refer details of suitable lawyers in Australia depending on your needs. It seems like a great source of information, especially when you are based outside of Australia.

We are also struggling to get hold of MGG. As we are in the UK it is proving impossible to track them down and we haven't been able to access our website or emails for over 3 weeks. Before this things seemed to be going fine so please could anyone post me any ideas as to how to get hold of them or access our website? Many thanks in advance.

I just wondered if MGG gave you a reason as to why they could not process your refund? I would be very interested to hear what they told you.

I didn't get a website either. We still have our old one after beginning our re-design project in July!
I do believe that the lack of communication is unacceptable and anyone who has suffered at their hands should look to take further action against them.

I didn't even get a site - I made I sizeable deposit to MGG for a site in 6 weeks and got nothing at all. After 10 weeks they agreed to refund the money, but later stated they could not do so - That was 3 months ago. Now they are non contactable.... Would be interested in the lawyers too....

Thanks for your post RW - it seems like the majority of the data for our site has disappeared which would mean a complete re-build of the site!!!!
We also used paymate to pay them $5000 AUS - I'd love to hear how you went about trying to get a chargeback.
We'd also be interested in the law firm you are using in Sydney - power in numbers and all of that!

Hi there,

We were in exactly the same position. We are a UK business and our website disappeared with MGG with no communication whatsoever.
We have moved our website back to our old hosting company and just yesterday I got an email from Paymate (who we used to pay MGG) saying they were attempting a chargeback. If that doesn't work I have been in touch with a firm of solicitors in Sydney as I refuse to let them take my money and deliver nothing.
How far along was your transfer before they vanished?

I really don't know what has happened. When I phone, I always get through to a 'receptionist', however she always claims no one is available to take my call!! So frustrating!
