Only just saw this one, I wish they would see the light!

I too was a very regular eater of brekky subs until the day the changed to the plastic omelette. Take away shops all over the country use fresh eggs, but it seems it's a health hazard at Subway.

I have not been back to Subway for brekky since, went back to Macca's - the old standby! At least they use fresh eggs!

They make the sub taste yuck, and I wrote to subway about it, Apparently is a Health and saftey issue for there staff to crack an egg!

hank you for taking the time to contact SUBWAYR Systems with your comments
and concerns. Our customers provide us with valuable input, which we use to
improve our operations.

It is with regret that I read of your disappointment with the recently
introduced omelette style egg. SUBWAYR Restaurants are always researching
and introducing new products as well as improving on the products that are
presently offered. We had to make the difficult decision whether to continue
with the crack eggs which could prove to be a health issue, or to find an
alternative. The omelette was developed with an Australian egg supplier over
an 18 month period, and after conducting trials in a number of stores, the
decision was made to change to the safe, consistent product. I appreciate
your current opinion and points raised and as such, your comments have been
retained for use in any future discussions held. As part of our commitment
to our customers we have shared your feedback with our Marketing and
Research & Development departments.

In closing, thank you once again for taking the time to contact us. I do
hope we have the pleasure of welcoming you back in store in the future in
order to rectify the poor impression gained.

Please let me know also if you are a subway regular who is disapponted in the brekky change?
