Unfortunately last November I had a motor vehicle accident that was not my fault. the other party and their insurance company accepted full liability. It took two months for my car to be repaired and I incurred over two months of vehicle hire. I am insured at the moment through comminsure and it has taken nearly four months to have my expences recovered. I had difficulty making contact with comminsure and when they did return my calls, did not display much interest in my case. I am extremely disapointed with their service and would not recommend them to anyone |

Isnt it funny with insurance company, everything is a OK until you lodge a claim. I lodged my claim and for weeks, didnt get a call back. I called them several times then finallly got one call back and still waiting on the claim. I think upper management should keep track of their case manager to ensure they follow up on claim lodged within the 7 days cycle. I am not saying all case managers are bad, maybe just my luck I have this lazy case manager who never call back. I am so disappointed and frustrated with comminsure service. People shouldnt be treated like this especially when they need help from an organisation who they have been members for years withoutmaking a claim until now |

I had the same issues with my case manager who qwould not return my calls. I found the experience totally frustrating & I agree with the previous poost that they are quick to take your $$ but very slow to pay out. I was the last person to receive my money and I was the innocent party. |

Insurance Tribunal - at this stage I would say it would be fine print but write, phone, demand....it may not fix your problem but if enough people complain on the right subject they will have too take notice (eewwwww so ugly to deal with a class action) |

I was told to provide two quotes which I have done. Called the same case manager three times but not one call back. Comminsure claim to be supportive and fast claim, I am definately not getting any of this. For those who are experiencing the same problem please post your issue so someone from comminsure can see this and hopefully "make it happen" I should have gone to an insurance company not a bank for insurance. |

i had my car stolen over a month ago and was insured with comminsure. They so far have sent out an investigator who was rude abusive, conducted part of the interview with the recorder deliberately turned off and in that time did everything including threaten me that if i did not accept fault they would destroy my credit record. The investigator has still not made any effort to finish his report. Comminsure were informed that my mother was dying of liver cancer and i am her primary carer. If i dont have a car to take her to medical appointments, buy her organic foods etc. etc. it could cost her life. When i told this to the investigator he used it as a reason to commit insurance fraud and proceeded to question me based on these facts, claiming i stole my own car because she was going through cancer. When and if this ever ends i will be going to A Current Affair and publicly displaying what they do to their "VALUED CUSTOMERS".
They are only "VALUED CUSTOMERS" until a claim is made then they are the prey of the insurer.
please send all your stories to ACA so we can stop this happening again.

Sick of the bull@#$t - so sorry to hear that, seems these companies have zero heart or soul. My advice, go to ACA now, not later.
Make this company accountable NOW, not later.
Good luck. |

Funny that, hey?
I just think it’s really pathetic that we as paying consumers have to resort to threatening with public exposure (ACA etc) before they do their job. It’s not like they're doing us a favour!!!! We pay them for a service, and most policies are not cheap.
Good on you, looking forward to hearing the outcome :) |

You would think that with Telstra having to change their policy with regards to serious illness that other companies would have a heart. NGE |

Comminsure paid me out within 2 days of my threat to speak to ACA and also paid me more than I beleive the market value was. I have a feeling that i was paid to shut up. Will never use comminsure again and neither should you. |
